On December 11, residents at the Odyssey House of Louisiana enjoyed a festive holiday celebration hosted by Altus volunteers. Joined by their families, OHL patients met Santa and Mrs. Claus, decorated a Christmas tree, and danced to holiday tunes spun by a DJ. Altus staff served traditional holiday treats and provided presents for OHL residents and their children.
Altus Outreach Committee Member, Alan Watson expressed how the celebration brightened everyone’s spirits, “this year’s party was the best yet! Everyone that volunteered agreed that seeing the joy and gratitude tonight was better than any material Christmas gift we could receive. We went home with full hearts!”
